Raha’s TESOL Journey

Sayeda Rahanuma Hayder , a meritorious student currently studying at Trinity Western University (TWU) ,Langley, British Columbia . Let’s talk about a bit about her journey !

 A  Bangladeshi female born started dreaming from early age that she would lead a different liberal life. Raha started her bachelor at Chittagong University at English department. Since then she was thinking to make herself as an English teacher . Being a teacher of a different language apart from mother tongue a bit challenging. Most of the honorable university teachers delivered a success story of students who went to study in different world ranking university & they represent our country . She got inspired by hearing this success story & made up her mind  to go through this challenge.

She completed BA , MA from Chittagong but due to competitive market of today’s world she was failure to get her dream job.  Then she started trying for having a degree from abroad.  During this time she searched different university requirement for international students .At first she has applied  for post graduate diploma in Algonquin College, Canada . She got admission, scholarship but didn’t get the visa after a long wait. She waited for 1 and half year for this challenge but got failed.  She frustrated for a while but her

family inspiration, self restraint , self confidence never could stopped from her dreams.

Then after a bit she again started trying in different country.  She applied in Germany, South Korea and obviously her dream country Canada as well.  After passing few months she was started to getting result from the universities she has applied to. It’s truly said somewhere ‘’ If you wish something truly from heart , Allah must take care of  it.’’ As a result she got chance every country she was applied . Finally she confirmed admission in Trinity western University in TESOL(Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program ,got visa but at the same time she got accepted from Heidelberg University, Germany and other countries as well.

 She always believed in her dream and see now all these dreams to come true. Now she is studying at Trinity Western University and working as a co-worker with  her university Professor .

Later is not the failure  it is just one more step to your desired dream becoming true so keep trying and remember ‘Its never been too late’
